The Qualitative Research Network is excited to be part of the 2024 Conference on College Composition and Communication in Spokane, WA, on April 3, 2024. The call for research-in-process submissions will go out in early November with due dates in early December and notifications of acceptance distributed before the winter break. Be on the lookout!

The last two years have been tough on us all, but we are excited that 4Cs is going to be able to host the conference in person in Chicago in spring 2022, and we’re excited that the Qualitative Research Network be operating as usual on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Check out the CFP to submit an abstract, or if you have questions, please email Dr. Will Banks, current chair of the QRN (banksw at ecu dot edu).

With great sadness at all the wonderful research conversations we’ll miss out on this year, we regret to inform you that the 2020 Qualitative Research Network at the Conference on College Composition and Communication has been canceled due to the ongoing proliferation of the COVD-19 viral outbreak. We thank our research facilitators, our presenters, and especially Dr. Michelle LaFrance, who was scheduled to be our plenary speaker, for their patience as we worked through news reports and predictions and tried to make a decision that would be best for the 60+ faculty and graduate students involved in our one-day event. We look forward to the 2021 conference in Spokane, WA, and will provide updates here and on our website when we begin planning for next year.
